Interest is calculated on day-end balances maintained in the savings account and paid out on a monthly basis.
The higher interest rate will be applied and paid basis the balances maintained as per slabs.
Example: If a customer maintains ₹ 3,20,000/- in the savings account, 2.50% interest will be earned for ₹ 3,00,000/- and 3.00% interest will be earned for the remaining ₹ 20,000/-

Who can open a Maxima Savings Account?
You will also need to be:
- Resident individual above 18 years of age
- You will need the following documents: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card and mobile number linked to your Aadhaar Card as the OTP will be sent to this linked mobile number
To be eligible for a Maxima Savings Account, you will need to meet any one of the below criteria:
- Monthly Average Balance >= Rs.1,00,000 in Savings Account (or) Cumulative FD >= Rs 15,00,000 (Active FD in the name of the first holder)

Yes there is daily transaction limit on all Digital Savings Account variants. The limit is for first 7 days of account opening.
The transaction limit varies basis the product selected by you. Kindly visit our Net banking page to know more on the same.
You may not face any challenge if the transaction value is lower than the limit applied for your account variant.
