StrengtheningEnterpriseInfrastructure
The Bank continued to strengthen its enterprise technology backbone through targeted infrastructure upgrades focused on scalability, continuity and operational readiness. Core Data Centre (DC)/Disaster Recovery (DR) MPLS and Internet links were upgraded during the year, while Hyper-V environments were migrated to new high-performance hardware to improve compute efficiency and infrastructure responsiveness.
As part of its expansion roadmap, IT infrastructure was extended to the new branches. Network resilience was further strengthened through secondary connectivity enablement via the Bank’s network partner and deployment of SD-WAN capabilities to support centralised control and dynamic network switching.
Modern infrastructure investments also supported readiness for future digital scale and enterprise integration requirements. Key initiatives undertaken during the year included:
- Modernisation of enterprise data warehousing infrastructure and analytics capabilities
- State of the art Phone Banking infrastructure enablement
- Implementation of SWIFT
- CMDB implementation for improved enterprise asset visibility and inventory tracking
- Establishment of a dedicated VKYC BCP site in Pune to strengthen continuity preparedness for critical operations
- Air-gap backup solution implementation to modernise backup and recovery processes
- Implementation of various new state of the art security solutions
The Bank also continued to reinforce operational efficiency through infrastructure resilience, enhanced monitoring frameworks and continuity-focused technology deployment across critical systems and operational environments.
EnterpriseIntegrationandOperationalEfficiency
The Bank strengthened enterprise integration through a microservices-based architecture and reusable APIs, supported by an enterprise integration layer. All external integrations are routed through API Gateway, ensuring consistent security, governance and interoperability across channels and partners.
Operational efficiency was improved through digitisation of loan origination and onboarding (including CKYC-based onboarding), integration of eSign/eStamping, and automation of customer communications (statements). An enterprise-wide Document Tracking System was deployed to improve workflow visibility across Operations.
Strategic integrations during the year included partnerships with Stable Money for Digital FD sourcing, Hero Fincorp, InsureNest, BSA and Account Aggregator services, expanding ecosystem connectivity and operational integration capabilities. The Bank also strengthened application and infrastructure operations monitoring through widely used industry standard tools to enable proactive performance management and faster incident resolution.
Monitoring,ResilienceandDecisionIntelligence
The Bank strengthened operational monitoring capabilities through applications and infrastructure monitoring tools enabling 24x7 monitoring and automated health checks. Disaster Recovery (DR) preparedness remained a focus area, with regular and periodic Disaster Recovery (DR) drills conducted for critical applications and other systems.
Analytics-led monitoring capabilities were further enhanced through upgraded EFRMS for real-time fraud monitoring. Additional governance and monitoring initiatives included implementation of MNRL and FRI systems, alongside PII data masking across applications.
