Responding to the Cyclones
In FY 2024-25, the Bank has directly supported the 10,000 & 2000 victims of Fengal Cyclone at Panruti, Cuddalore & Mahadevagollahalli respectively with adequate supply of groceries and household essentials during this time of crisis. Similarly, the Bank had supported about 10,000+ victims across PAN India through its Winter relief, Summer relief & disaster relief initiatives to navigate the effects of the climate change.
In FY 2025-26, the Bank has directly supported over 5,000 families across Punjab, Maharashtra and Himachal Pradesh. This relief initiative has reached to more than 12,360 individuals in the mentioned states. Through timely intervention and local implementation partners, essential dry ration kits and relief material were distributed to affected families, helping address immediate food security and household requirements during period of disruption.
