  • Device Binding is the process to register your device as a trusted device for Banking. It registers your device and validates with registered mobile number. This allows access to the Mobile Banking application from a trusted device only and makes your app usage safe and secure.

How to Get Started with Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking Application

For New Registrations

 

1. Download & Install the Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking app:

  • For Android device users: Visit Google Play Store
  • For iOS device users: Visit App Store

2. Open the app, tap Login, then select Register Now.

 

3. Proceed with Device Registration (ensure the SIM linked to your registered mobile number is in the device).

 

4. Select the SIM (SIM 1 or SIM 2) that is registered with the bank. Review and accept Terms & Conditions, then tap Send SMS.

 

5. CIF ID linked to Mobile No will get auto populated in the register screen (Users having multiple CIF IDs need to select from the dropdown list)

 

6. Review and Accept the Terms & Conditions and click on Register button

 

7. Authenticate using the OTP sent to your registered Mobile number

 

8. Choose Any One Method From 3 For Multi Factor Authentication.

  • Aadhaar OTP – Enter Aadhaar card Details and authenticate using Aadhaar OTP
  • Debit Card – Enter Debit card Details
  • Temporary Passcode – Enter Passcode. 
    (Temporary passcode may be generated through branch or Phone Banking on toll-free - 1800 208 2121)

9. Set a Username and 4-digit MPIN, optionally set Security Questions, select a Primary Account, and tap click on continue.

 

10. You can now login using your Username and MPIN to access Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking.

 

 

For Existing Ujjivan Mobile Banking Users

 

To continue your banking seamlessly, please follow the steps below to transition to the Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking App:

 

1. Download & Install the Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking app:

  • For Android device users: Visit the Google Play Store
  • For iOS device users: Visit the App Store

2. Open the app and login using the existing credentials i.e., Username and existing MPIN (4-digit)

 

3. First Time Login Procedure:

  • Enter “CIF ID” in the username field and click on Login
  • A Pop-up screen will appear for you to set a New Username. After entering your desired Username, click on Check Availability to verify the availability. Once the username is displayed as available, click on Update to set it.
  • Once the new username is set, enter your newly set Username & existing 4-digit MPIN to login
  • A confirmation message will pop up to proceed with the Device registration (Users have to ensure that the SIM with the registered mobile number is present in the mobile device).
  • Select SIM 1 or SIM 2, which is registered with the Bank.
  • Review and Accept the Terms and Conditions by clicking on “Send SMS” button

How to Change MPIN

  • Log in to the Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking Application using your current MPIN.
  • Go to the Settings tab in the vertical menu.
  • Click on Change MPIN.
  • Enter the following details:
    - Existing MPIN
    - New MPIN
    - Confirm New MPIN
  • Click on Update
  • Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
  • Once the OTP is verified, the new MPIN will be set.

What Should I Do if I Forget MPIN

  • On the pre-login screen of the Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking Application, click “Trouble Logging In?”
  • Enter Customer ID and Mobile Number registered with the bank
  • Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
  • Authenticate using any of the following method:
    - Debit card,
    - Aadhaar OTP,
    - Temporary Passcode, or
    - Security questions.
  • Set your new MPIN.

*NOTE: You can set security answers in the Settings tab and do not use the last 3 previously used MPINs

Transaction Limits

  • All transaction limits are applicable in INR
  • There is no limit for fund transfer within Linked Accounts (Own Accounts)
  • Limits on Newly Added Beneficiary
    - Cooling period – 30 minutes -. During this time, no transaction is allowed
    - First 24 hours post cooling period – Rs 50,000 allowed.

A Username is a unique identification name created by the user to securely log in to the Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking/ Internet Banking platform. It is used along with your MPIN/ Password to authenticate your identity and access your banking account.
 

Your Username must follow these guidelines:

  • It should be alphanumeric (letters and numbers only)

  • It must be between 8 and 15 characters long

  • It cannot contain special characters or spaces

  • It must be entered in capital letters

Q11. How can I retrieve my Username if I forget it?

If you forget your Username, you can easily retrieve it by selecting “Trouble Logging In → Forgot Username” on the pre-login page of the Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking App. Follow the on-screen steps to recover your Username securely using your registered details.

Q12. What is a Customer ID?

A Customer ID is a unique identification number assigned by the bank to each customer. It serves as a single reference that links all your accounts and services with the bank and is used for identification in transactions, support requests, and account management.

Q13. Can I Enable or Disable my debit card for POS, E-Com, ATM?

Yes. You can temporarily Enable/ Disable your debit card through the “Manage limits” under Debit Card section for ATM, POS, E-Com transactions.

Q14. Can I block or unblock my debit card permanently?

Yes. You can permanently block/unblock your debit card using the functionality - "Hotlist" within “Cards Actions” section under Debit Card.

Q15. Can I transfer money without adding a new payee?

No, adding a new payee is mandatory for transferring money within own or other bank transfers (via. Internal Fund Transfer, NEFT, RTGS) using the Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking.

Q16. How can I add a new payee?

You can easily add new payee after login to Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking App by following below steps:

  • Click on "Manage Payee" option on the home screen or select "Transfer" option in the vertical slider menu.
  • Select "Add Payee" option and choose beneficiary type i.e. Within Bank or Other Bank and
  • Fill the required details based on selected payment method
  • Enter the OTP sent to your mobile number registered with the Bank.

Q17. What is a “Favourite” transaction?

A Favourite transaction lets you save your most frequent transfers, helping you access and complete them quickly whenever needed.

Q18. Can I use the old and new applications simultaneously?

No. You cannot use both the old and new Mobile Banking applications at the same time on the same or different devices.

If you have already created a username on the Ujjivan EZY Internet Banking platform, it will automatically be reflected in the Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking App, and vice versa. A single username is required during the first-time registration on either platform. Once created, the same username can be used to log in to both the Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking App and the Ujjivan EZY Internet Banking platform.

Q22. Will my existing beneficiaries and other information be reflected in the Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking App?

Yes. All your existing details — including beneficiaries, billers, standing instructions, limits, and security questions — from the old Mobile Banking application will automatically be available in the Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking and Internet Banking platforms.

Q23 Is there a cooling period when adding a new beneficiary? What are the transfer limits during this time?

Yes, a cooling period is applicable, when you add a new beneficiary. The activation process is as follows:

  • After adding a new beneficiary, there is a 30-minute cooling period, during which you cannot make any transfers to the added beneficiary
  • Post 30-minute period, you can transfer up to ₹50,000 within the next 24 hours.
  • After 24 hours, you can transfer amount up to the transaction limits applicable based on your account/product variant.

Once done, you can log in using your Username and MPIN to access Ujjivan EZY Mobile Banking. 

Q26. How can existing Ujjivan Mobile Banking users set their Username during their first-time registration in new Ujjivan EZY App?

1. Enter your CIF ID in the username field and click Login.
2. A pop-up screen will appear prompting you to set a new Username.
3. Click Check Availability to verify if your preferred Username is available. Once available, click Update to set your new Username.
4. Enter your new Username and existing 4-digit MPIN to log in.
5. A confirmation message will appear to proceed with Device Registration.
(Ensure the SIM with your registered mobile number is present in the device.)
6. Select the registered SIM (SIM 1 or SIM 2), review and accept the Terms & Conditions, then click Send SMS.
